History This was a walk through to test out a possible trainee and since we were so familiar with the Calvary Cemetery, it was a good place as any to see what she could find with the equipment. The group knows the hot spots of the cemetery and we were looking for some more of the spirits that wish to be heard.
Investigation This was a one-on-one session between Adam and the person being trained. They started the investigation by walking around the cemetery to let the spirits who rest in this cemetery get comfortable with them as well as show them their intentions of no harm. This sometimes helps ease the tension between the living and the spirits and makes for better communication and evidence. When they walked into the cemetery, they both felt like all eyes were on them. Adam describes it as "having walked into a party and the music stops and everyone is looking at you like you have your pants around your ankles." This lasted for about 10 minutes and then the cemetery went quiet. They also reported seeing shadows darting between the taller headstones in the middle of the cemetery visually. Photos taken showed a few more orbs than usual but are not notable due to the 3-5 mph W winds.
Observations and Conclusions The cemetery walk through provided some interesting results. Calvary Cemetery can be really active or give you nothing from what our group has gathered from the last two years that we have gathered data from the location. It has it's hot spots and those that rest there are willing to talk if you give them the chance. However, misinterpreted urban legends often are the cause of most people being in the cemetery at night. We can't explain the situations that both investigators went through that night however there was verification on EVP file two of the little boy whose voice is recorded. What is interesting about that section of the cemetery is that it is a family plot and he was buried with his parents. He appeared to have a brother and both young boys were around the ages of two and three upon death. Why they weren't buried in the children's section of the cemetery, we are not sure. Perhaps a special request by the family? It gives us interesting feedback to know that what we caught was unusual and that gives us better verification that what we caught was paranormal than normal.
