2005/10/08 - Private Business, Mankato

History: On September 11, 2005 we were invited to this local Mankato business to investigate some experiences that staff members have had over the years. We ended up providing a lot of answers but raising some questions of our own so we were kindly invited back to the business to do a follow up.

This business is a bar venue and does have local bands play there on the weekends. Luckily for us, this was a Friday night and we were going to be right below a live band. This poses many problems for our investigation as we have EMF spikes from speakers, noise in our EVPs, and whatever spirits are there, probably are hiding it out or upstairs dancing their whisps away.

However, we decided to stick it out and see what we could find. Our main goal here was to follow up on the EVP that we recorded last time we were here to find out who the "3 spirits" that were present were and to get some names, one who was nicknamed "Bob" by the staff members of the business.

Any cold spots or sensations? Comparing this night to the last time we were here, there was not a whole lot of anything going on. The building spiritually was calm even if there was a band upstairs and a lot of patrons. The one room that we found the best results in last time was the only area that the investigators felt any sensations in.

Kelly, Monica, and Adam felt the sensation of being cold, chills going up their spines, and the air getting heavy.

Any unusual occurrences? The evidence that we gathered was about the same as last time around, if not a little bit more, as we did spend a lot more time investigating the area.

There was one spot in the "active" room where two specific chairs sat. This room was set up as a meeting room and also had chairs piled on the sides. The chairs that were set up were facing a large podium as any meeting room would be set up to focus attention on the speaker.

The group's EMF meters, dowsing rods, and cameras all picked up evidence above these two chairs.

Observations and Conclusions: The night posed a few problems with the band and crowd upstairs but we did get some evidence, even if it was just a couple of orbs and a few warped EVPs.

While we have been invited back to the business for future endeavors, we probably won't head back there until late November. It would be nice to investigate the whole building by ourselves just to see what we can find but in the real world, sometimes things like that just don't happen.
