| History: A small cemetery on the outskirts of Eagle Lake, Minnesota, this was probably the city's first and quite possibly only cemetery. Most dates are from around the turn of the 20th century. The size of this cemetery was about 70 feet x 120 feet. | ||||||

Any cold spots or sensations? The northeast corner of this lot was very active. From what I could tell, that was the corner were old headstones were dumped. Many times in our investigations we have found out that spirits like to hang out around the places that old headstones are put, whether that is an attachment or for some other physical reason. While it was a very humid night, this back corner seemed to be not so humid and wet. It was a few degrees cooler than the rest of the cemetery. Adam used the EMF detector in this back corner and had the meter go through the roof. This was the only part of the cemetery that set off the EMF meter! Whatever was setting off the meter seemed to fade, grow stronger, and move around in the back corner. Any unusual occurrences? When the group first discovered this corner, it was Adam and Garrett in a pairing that had the first readings. Garrett took the pictures and Adam did the readings with the EMF. The EMF readings were around 50 milligauss. After chasing this around, they invited new member Kelly and her sister to come over to see what was happening. When the two approached the corner, the readings simply disappeared. Photos were taken in this back corner and out of 27 photos taken, only three weilded anomalous objects in them.
While at first, the top photo was thought to be a glare off of a monument but there was no glossy headstone in that area at the time of the photograph. Observations and Conclusions: This cemetery was found to be mostly at peace, which is expected. However the back northeast corner of this lot was very active suprisingly. We did suspect that the activity that we found rested around a "John W. Burgess" headstone. What this person was like in life is a mystery to us but he was surely active on July 21st! |
