Investigation Since Justin was in from Bemidji and staying at a local hotel, he asked if we could take him out to the Lakeview Cemetery that has provided good results for us. We thought that this was a good idea and since we were looking for a spot to bring Hometown Focus editor, Jean Cole, this provided to be a good idea. While at the Field of Screams, we met up with the Mayor of Chisholm and MNPSG fan, Michael Jugovich, who went out a week prior to the cemetery and witnessed something that he cannot explain. We invited him along so that he could check it out with us and provide his story to the Hometown Focus article.
Observations and Conclusions Temperature played a huge part on our investigation. The grass had frost on it and was slippery and our photos picked up a lot of mists which were from our breathing. We toured the location with a large group and had no activity to report. Once Mickey and Michael Jugovich left for the night, this left Don and Jean to investigate and Adam to show Justin the layout of the cemetery. While in Potter's Field, Adam and Justin found odd EMF spikes of greater than 1.0 milligauss which is strange for an empty field with no power lines, no cell phones on the investigators, and no structures around the field. The investigators also heard sounds from the southwest corner which they claim might have been animalistic such as a skunk but is not conclusive. Don and Jean were by the angel statue in the cemetery and had heard footsteps in the dry leaves coming from the western side of the path that leads to Potter's Field. The two were unable to reproduce or pinpoint the sounds but they were similar to what has been heard by our investigators there on prior trips. (The investigators claim that it sounds like something walks in the grass alongside you while you walk on the gravel paths.) While we captured no audio or photographic evidence, we did want to share these photos with the viewers of our website to show exactly how easy it is to make fake mist photos and try to pass them off as ghosts. This is why we do not use photographic data as evidence in our investigations. These were made by blowing breath across the lens of the camera in 30 F weather. See if you can find any patterns of faces or eyes. You will see why matrixing is a concern in the field.
Once again, these are perfectly normal and are produced for educational purposes. In other words, they are not meant to be viewed as evidence of ghostly activity.
